A nail technician buys for work and most often restocks a specific shade that has run out. For tonKAton, a professional cosmetics store, we built a storefront where products go into the cart straight from the banner, the catalog leads to the right base coat in three steps, and the blog answers everyday work questions.

Buy straight from the banner
Hotspots on the “Shop the look” photo open the products from the look right over the banner. The technician sees the price and adds to cart with no clicking around or searching.

The right base coat in three steps
The menu goes from the area, such as nails, hair or brows, to the group and the exact type: base coats, top coats, colored gel polishes. A large range never confuses the shopper.

Everything to decide on one screen
A photo showing the shade, the brand, price and availability, the cart and one-click purchase. Shipping, the authenticity guarantee and return terms sit under the buttons and clear up any last doubts.

A blog that answers work questions
Articles tackle technicians’ problems, such as peeling gel polish or curing mistakes. From advice to the right product is one click into the catalog.

Online store for nail technicians that sells straight from the banner
Nail technicians shop at two speeds. Sometimes they’re looking for ideas for a new look, but more often they’re restocking a specific base coat, top coat or shade that has run out. tonKAton sells professional cosmetics in Kharkiv to nail and brow technicians, hairdressers and cosmetologists. The online store had to work at both speeds, inspiring shoppers while getting them to the right product fast.
The first screen features a “Shop the look” banner. Hotspots on the photo reveal the products used in the look, and they go into the cart without leaving the banner. Several routes lead into the range: a three-level menu, brand pages and filters by price, shade and volume. The product card fits the photo, price, availability and cart button on a single screen.
Next to the catalog sits a blog for technicians with breakdowns like “Why gel polish peels”. It answers work questions and keeps the store top of mind between orders. The storefront runs on Apricore, our e-commerce platform, so products, stock and orders live in one system. Planning a cosmetics online store? We’ll show you Apricore on a call.
