Gutters are bought as a system, and without a site foreman buyers easily get the kit wrong. For manufacturer RainWay we built an OpenCart store where a calculator sizes the system to the roof and the catalog covers the entire roof edge in one cart.

Filter by part and color
Buyers pick brackets, couplings or outlets for their system and immediately see the RAL color they need. Price and stock show right in the list, with no need to open the product page.

Color and quantity on the page
Color is chosen right on the product page, next to the quantity and the “Add to cart” button. A diagram shows what the part is made of before the purchase.

One-page checkout
Delivery, payment and the cart sit side by side, with no jumping between steps. Pay online, by bank transfer or on delivery.

A calculator instead of a foreman
The buyer picks a house type, fills in the dimensions and in a few steps gets a ready list of products for the cart. Gutters and soffits are calculated separately.

Online store where buyers calculate gutters for their own roof
Nobody buys gutters one piece at a time. Gutters, downpipes, outlets, corners and brackets have to fit together as one system by series, diameter and color. An inexperienced buyer gets it wrong and then drives back to the supplier for whatever they forgot. Manufacturer RainWay needed its own store where people assemble a complete kit for their roof themselves, from the gutter to the last clamp.
The buyer opens the calculator, picks a house type, enters the dimensions and gets a list of parts with quantities, ready to buy. The catalog is organized by series, RAINWAY 130, RAINWAY 90 and GIZA 120, with ready-made kits and a color filter. Soffits, roof ventilation and accessories sit alongside, so the entire roof edge is covered in a single cart. Step-by-step guides are there for DIY installation.
The manufacturer gained an online sales channel of its own. The calculator answers “how much of what do I need” before anyone picks up the phone, and an account with order history makes repeat purchases easier. Ukrainian is the main version, with Russian alongside. If your product also sells in sets, let’s talk about OpenCart store development with a calculator built around your logic.
