The “Rental” section explains the terms and sits next to the catalog. Anyone who doesn’t want to buy a tool for one renovation can rent it instead.
Online store for a building supply market with 35,000 products
Budmen belongs to Budfamily and runs two stores in Kharkiv. The range covers more than 35,000 products: tools, electrical equipment, building materials and car supplies. The market also rents out tools and runs a discount program. All of it had to move online so shoppers wouldn’t get lost in the catalog and could buy without driving to the store.
The catalog opens with a side menu of sections, from tools to ventilation. The product card stays simple: photo, price and a “Buy” button, even with tens of thousands of items. In the cart, shoppers choose delivery or pickup and pay by card via LiqPay or Privat24. A discount card can be issued right on the site, with no line at the checkout.
The “Rental” section works right next to the store, so rentals don’t need a separate site. The Ukrainian and Russian versions carry the same full catalog, not a cut-down copy.
